Finished Work Vision:
- “When he had received the drink, Jesus said, ‘It is finished.’” John 19:30
“There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from his. Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will fall by following their example of disobedience.” Heb. 4: 9-11 - At Grace Ministries, we seek to build upon and rest upon the solid foundation of the finished work of Jesus Christ. What exactly do we mean by the finished work?
When Jesus declared “it is finished”, he was saying that through his sacrificial death on the cross, the sins of every man, woman and child were paid for, thus making eternal life possible for every one that would place their trust in what he did for them as the basis of their salvation. - Everyone who places their faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ receives the free gift of eternal life, which is neither earned nor deserved, but which is freely given to us by a gracious God.
- Not only is our salvation totally dependent upon the finished work and the grace of God, but our growth as Christians and our enjoyment of the Christian life depends on how well we understand and rest in what Christ has already done for us.
For example, a person who gets saved by grace but who does not understand who he is in Christ or what has been provided for him to live a godly life will eventually feel condemned and frustrated with his inability to live as he should. He will be forever trying to earn God’s love and acceptance, yet feeling that he doesn’t deserve it because of his failures. - Many Christians burn out, leave their churches, or conclude that they’re just not good enough. This is not God’s plan!
Our Values:
At Grace Ministries, we seek to impart a proper Biblical understanding so that people can serve the Lord from a position of rest in who He is and what He has done. Many people have found healing and renewed enthusiasm to serve God as they have discovered who they are in Christ and learned to rest in His finished work. At Grace Ministries, we love the Word of God, because it sets us free from our wrong thinking. We love our pastors, because they are shepherds after God’s heart and they feed us the words of life. We love to evangelize, because it is a joy to see others come to know the Savior. We love to fellowship together around the Word of God, because we recognize that we are eternally part of God’s family and one day we will be worshiping together around God’s throne. We love people, not programs, because that is the heart of God
Are we a perfect church?
No, we are a congregation of imperfect sinners, but are growing together in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Do we give a license for sin because we are grace-oriented?
No, we believe as Titus 2:12 says that grace teaches us to deny fleshly lusts and is the right premise for godly living.
Do we do everything well?
No, but we recognize that every individual believer and every local assembly has a unique and vital role to play in the Body of Christ, and we seek to be faithful to the niche that God has called us to.

Exchange Life Ministries: What is the Exchanged Life?
These past 3 years, I have been studying for my Master’s in Biblical Counselling at Luther Rice College & Seminary (www.LutherRice.EDU). I experienced an amazing teaching that has been helping many, many people to get free from the bondage they were in.
Have you ever heard of a man named Hudson Taylor? He was a missionary to China, who was struggling with his ministry as well as his personal life, and couldn’t really understand what was happening. One day as he was walking along, a few verses began to minister to him. The Lord began to shine a light on this subject which he later called the “Exchanged Life”. He wrote to his sister about this experience that took place; the revelation of our death and His life worked in such a way that it brought about a revolutionary change in his perspective. Through this understanding of the exchanged life, many have been set free from some of the most troubling bondage that Christians will experience. I have to say that many Christians won’t admit that they’re struggling, especially those in leadership, because of the fear of rejection and losing their position. So they continue to stay in the bondage and hope that they will get free. Yet they still struggle, trying to drown it out with work, even God’s work. I don’t agree with this one bit, it just doesn’t work!
We hope you can come and hear these truths taught on Sundays and Wednesdays. Jesus said: I am the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE, no man can come to the Father, but by Me. John 14:6.
We will be putting up audio messages soon, and I hope you will listen and be blessed by the Lord Himself.
