You are beautiful

I know that sometimes we don’t feel beautiful or perfect. Well, I am here to tell you two things. First of, you are beautiful just the way you are! Don’t change! Second of all, there is someone who thinks you are perfect no matter what. His name is Jesus. I mean think about it! The creator of Heaven and Earth, the Almighty God thinks you are perfect because he made you. You are beautifully and wonderfully made! That is something to be happy about! Rejoice! Smile! Jesus loves you!

“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” – Psalm 139:14

                                                  Peer pressure and Temptation

We live in a world full of peer pressure and temptation. It can sometimes pressure us to do things that dishonor God or tempt us into thinking that doing something can seem really cool but it can destroy your communion with the Lord. But we don’t have to be discouraged by the pressure of the world. If you are being pressured just pray to him, he always listens when we call unto him. Try to live everyday so God can be glorified. Let others see Jesus through you. It won’t always be easy to have your eyes on the Lord but like Philippians 4:13 says:”I can do all this through him who gives me strength.”

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” –Mathew 5:16

“They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.” –John 17:16

“The Lord values the lives of his faithful followers.”Psalm 116:15

His Love

Whenever I talk or think about God’s love for me ( and you) I get this overwhelming feeling of joy inside. I feel touched that the Lord sent his one and only son not only to die for my sins, but for your sins as well because he loved us so much! Jesus could’ve chose to not die on the cross, but he did! We did nothing to deserve his love. We don’t even deserve it. That’s the beauty of our relationship with the Lord. Nothing and i mean absolutely NOTHING can separate us from his love for us and i love him for that! We are unworthy but yet He still loves you! God will love you no matter what! His love is unfailing and unending. I’ve recently been listening to “One Thing Remains” by: Jesus Culture. It’s such a powerful song and i really wanted to share it with you! You can listen to the song down below.

“but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”  Romans 5:8

She looked back: A poem

She looked back at her hometown

She looked back at all the memories she had madeShe remembered the times she spent climbing trees

She remembered the times when her mom tucked her in bed

She remembered her dad comforting her with every tear she shed

She remembered all the moments good and bad

She thought about how her leaving was sad

But her coming back will make her family glad

For she was going on an adventure

That would last a year

But she knew that her Savior was near

So she had nothing to fear

I wrote this poem 2 months ago and i wanted to share! I hope you enjoy it!

                                                  Trust in the Lord

Have you ever been in a situation where you just had to trust God? Did you ever just had to let go and let God take care of it? It happened to all of us. Still does. Trusting God is easy, but sometimes we don’t want to. So we try to do it on our own, but we all know that when you try to do something on your own it never works. That is normal. I can assure you that when you trust him he knows what he is doing. He is God after all! There is no limit to what He can do for us. He is able to do the impossible. When you say:”this is impossible” God says:”No, it is possible just trust me.” He can make anything happen. We just have to trust. What you asked for may not happen right away, but we need to know that his timing is perfect. Always. So whatever you are going through pray about it, and let God take care of it. He will have everything under control.

“When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.”  -Psalm 56:3

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.   -1Peter 5:7

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” -Proverbs 3:5-6

Look like Love

“Be Imitators of me, as I am of Christ.” – 1Corinthians 11:1

How many times have you seen someone being mean or bullying another person? How many times

have you heard people judging or saying negative things to others? Have you ever told yourself:

“ will it ever end?” It’s time for us to step up. Start acting like how Jesus would.

Love others even though they are different. Treat others as you would like to be treated.

“Do to others as you would like them to do to you.” – Luke 6:31

Shine Christ through your actions! Be an example. We are set apart from the world.
This is not our home we are just passing through. So don’t copy the ways of the world instead look like Jesus.

“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.” – Romans 12:2

Once you set an example by doing good instead of wrong, others will follow. As I like to say one spark can start a fire. But be careful. It won’t be easy to always do the right thing. You’ll always be tempted to do wrong but if you focus on The Lord, he’ll help you get through the temptation. So be a light. Shine for Him! Look like Love.

“In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.”  -Mathew 5:16
